At last we can begin to piece together a picture of his routine. It starts at 4 in the morning when he goes out in his nightshirt to look for eggs.

I am 3 miles [4.828 kilometers] from the arching garage door-on-steroids (yes, that is a Wal-Mart across the street) under which the Cowboys will play beginning 2009. It’s winter here now, near Chicago, snow on the ground (not much), and a good deal chillier than Morocco. Beautiful Christmas decorations.
It’s only a matter of time, when it gets too chilly his eggs will raise up and hide.
It is beyond distinctly chilly here at my parents’ house in Michigan.
