Cold, overcast & a very little light drizzle. Ground has not dried up so cannot sow peas yet. Dug the limed patch, leaving it very rough. It can remain thus for about 2 months. No more digging now remains to be done.
A great deal of bindweed root in the soil, but none coming up yet. It seems to come up later than most perennial weeds. Weeded the forget-me-nots.
17 eggs.
“No more digging remains to be done” – sweet words, to write no doubt.
Dude, you gotta get that bindweed root out! Don’t you remember what a problem it was last year?
It’s always good to get the digging out of the way, that really is the worst part about working a garden.
I wanted to say something hilarious regarding Bindweed but I can’t come up with anything.
